Cynthia has returned to Los Angeles full time after three years of fabulous experiences on the East coast working in New York and Regional theater, feature films, commercials, industrials and print.
Film - Just wrapped - feature For the Love of Pudding. Cynthia starred as hippie PoliSci prof Ally LaRusso in this improvised political mockumentary. Co-written and directed by award winning filmmakers Rob and Apryl Lee, Plushy - Poecat Prods.
Also, watch for Cynthia in the feature film Perception - written & directed by Wade Wofford for Dedalus Films. In this fascinating exploration of perceptions, Cynthia plays a feisty, loving mom, oblivious to the fact that her daughter is homeless and living on the streets of New York. To be released in Spring 2007
Stage - Cynthia recently appeared in a new translation of Machiavelli's The Mandrake at Manhattan Theatre Source and in the hit play Half Life at the Flea Theater, the play NY Magazine called "The best written and acted show in the Fringe"!
Commercial - Just wrapped! Principal work on a Miller Ford/Nissan spot and a GE Industrial.
Training - Scene study in New York with the legendary Michael Howard.

Cynthia earned these great reviews as Eleanor, a woman trying desperately to hold her family together in the aftermath of an explosive incident. Half Life by Robert Moulthrop had a SOLD OUT RUN as part of the New York International Fringe Festival and was extended at the fabulous Flea Theater in Tribeca.

Plushy starring Cynthia Foster played to an ecstatic crowd at the Nolita Film Festival! Cynthia plays Lily, a damaged but hopeful woman in this dark comedy by IFP award-winning writer/director Apryl Fioriglio Lee and director Robert Lee. It was also chosen as an official entry in the New Hampshire Film Expo and the Mini Big DV Festival.
